Healing Happens in Community
“Almost half (47%) of Australian women have experienced pelvic pain in the last five years”
And in addition to this, Continence Health Australia tells us that about half of all women who have had a child have some level of prolapse.
If at least 1 in 2 of us are navigating pelvic health changes and challenges, why are we are still expected to carry them in silence?
For too long, pelvic health has been treated as a private, individual struggle to be managed behind closed doors. We’ve been led to believe that if our bodies feel different after birth, it's a personal hurdle to be "fixed" in isolation.
But I believe that when a struggle is this common, the solution shouldn't be so lonely.
These aren't individual health problems, they are a collective experience of matrescence (the profound transition from woman/adult to mother/parent). The Empowered Pelvis Collective is a space to bring these stories out of the treatment room and into the community, where we can be seen, heard and held together.
Free Pelvic Health Circles
You don’t have to do this alone.
I believe that while we need clinical care for our bodies, we need community for our hearts. We’re told that we just need more discipline with our exercises. But the real solution begins when we move out of isolation and into a space where we are understood.
What is The Empowered Pelvis Collective?
This is a free monthly sharing and healing circle for anyone seeking a place to explore their pelvic health during the transition of matrescence. It is a space where we move from feeling ‘broken’ in isolation to feeling empowered in community.
What to Expect
Storytelling as Medicine: We break the silence and find resonance in one another’s journeys, creating a strong connection through our shared experiences.
Informed Movement: I share gentle, restorative practices backed by my extensive knowledge of pelvic health and mechanics.
A Sacred Space: My home studio provides a quiet, safe environment to slow down and listen to what your body is telling you.
Is the Collective for you?
Whether you are just beginning to think about a family or are many years into your parenting journey, this space is for you.
You are so welcome here if:
You are in Preconception or Pregnancy: You want to build an autonomous approach to your pelvic health before birth.
You are Postpartum (whether 6 weeks or 16 years): You are navigating the 1 in 2 statistic of pelvic health symptoms and want a community that understands.
You feel "fine" clinically but "lost" emotionally: You have been told your body is "healed," but you still don't feel quite at home in your own skin.
You value Autonomy: You want to move away from being "fixed" and toward a place of self-inquiry and self-governance (Svadhyaya).
You identify as a Mother or a Birthing Person: This is a gender-inclusive space that honours the feminine experience while remaining open to all non-binary parents.
You understand the value of collaborative care: You are already seeing a clinical professional but crave a space for storytelling and community connection.

A Journey from the Island to the Circle
My passion for pelvic health didn't just come from textbooks; it came from a place of personal isolation. While living on a remote island in the Northern Territory during my own pregnancy, I experienced a significant pelvic injury.
I was thousands of kilometres away from my family, with very little clinical support available. In that space of physical pain and geographic isolation, I felt the true weight of navigating a 'taboo' struggle alone.
It was through my own journey of Svadhyaya (self-inquiry) and self-education that I began to understand how to support my body when the 'system' couldn't. But the biggest lesson I learned wasn't a physical exercise; it was that healing requires community.
I built my own support network along the way, and that connection made all the difference. I created The Empowered Pelvis Collective because I want to ensure that no one else has to feel as isolated as I did on that island.
*A note on Professional Scope
Although I am an experienced pelvic health educator, I am not a medical practitioner or pelvic health physiotherapist.
These sessions are designed for community education and support, and I always encourage a collaborative approach with your clinical healthcare team.
Your Story, Your Pace
I know that the idea of a "pelvic health circle" might feel a bit daunting at first. You might worry that you'll be expected to share clinical diagnoses or the ‘gory’ details of your body's private journey.
Please know that The Empowered Pelvis Collective isn’t that kind of space.
Sharing your story doesn’t mean revealing every medical detail. Sometimes, ‘sharing’ is simply naming how hard it has felt to navigate your day-to-day activities, or the frustration of not being able to play on the floor with your toddler without worry. These lived moments are the real heartbeat of matrescence, and they are more than enough.
Your autonomy is at the centre of everything I do here. You are always in control of what - and how much - you choose to speak into the circle. Whether you come to share a small fragment of your experience or simply to sit and listen to others, you are so welcome.
Not just about your pelvis.
It's about heart, story, and community waiting to walk alongside you.
